Kylee Slade, RP

I am registered as a psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University after receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brock University. Having an in-depth background about sleep working as a technician gives me the tools and knowledge to address the common factor that many of us struggle with, sleep. Problems with it can cause daytime consequences that we are all aware of and I can support you with my training in Insomnia and other sleep disorders.

I work from a client-centered approach treating children, adolescents and adults for therapy who are experiencing mental health issues and challenges in today’s world. I am here to collaboratively assist you with your goals so you can learn to cope and manage your way through the difficulties life throws at you. In therapy, I work with a range of mental health disorders, and I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
